mini killner jars are perfect for slotting in spoons

Glass jars of all shapes and sizes have been popping up in blogs and websites for quite a while now, for food, sweets, favours and just about anything you can think of. Killner and Masons are the brands to get as they have extra detail, both embossing their names in the glass. But as is always the case with the best brands, they don’t come cheap. Until now! Heatons have started stocking Killner jars in the traditional round and a square shape and not at the usual eye watering price. Prices for the mini jars, (ideal for single portions of dessert or yogurt) start at €2.50 and the large jars (great for sweets and cookies for a share table) are €4-€6 Check out some of these great ideas for inspiration but remember, you don’t have to spend big, any glass jar looks cute with a ribbon tied round it so plan ahead. Start saving or better yet, put out a call to friends and family to start collecting and you could really make an impact with just a few bags of tea lights and 5 or 6 meters of ribbon.
